Survey Pollsters Not Affiliated with the District - Northfield and Dundas area residents have reported being approached at their homes this summer by an organization conducting a school-related survey. Please be aware that any person approaching you at home, asking you to complete a survey, and claiming to be working with the schools, is not affiliated with the district. Northfield Public Schools does not send individuals to personally collect survey information from parents or community members.

More Than 1,700 Participated in June Recreation Programs
So far this summer, 1,712 people have started a Northfield Public Schools Community Services recreation program. It's not too late to register. Sessions of tennis, swimming lessons, tae kwon do, soccer, volleyball, basketball, football, lacrosse, and more will begin in the months of July and August.

Northfield High School Fall 2010 Sports Information - Fall high school sports will begin on Aug. 16. Fees and forms, including current physical forms, must be turned in before Aug. 13 in order for students to attend the first practice. Physicals are good for three years. The annual Fall Sports Parent Meeting will be at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 17, in the high school gym. All registered fall sport athletes must attend this mandatory meeting and be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Download registration forms.

Online Food Service Accounts Unavailable - Northfield Public Schools Food Service is in the process of converting from family to individual student accounts within the district's Family Access software. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, food service family accounts are currently unavailable to parents for viewing or other uses, including making online payments. We apologize for this inconvenience, and we will post news here when the issues are resolved.

2010-2011 School Bus Registration - For high school students in bus clip art grades 10, 11 and 12, students will not be listed for bus service unless they have been registered. Complete the online form if your student is entering grades 10-12 and will require school bus transportation for the coming year, and you have not yet returned a form.

Professional Learning Communities (PLC) Proposal Approved

Compañeros Recommendation Approved
At the March 8 meeting, school board members approved the Compañeros Recommendation (Proposal D) , the ESL Kindergarten Proposal , and the attendance and transportation options for the Sibley attendance area Compañeros students and Keya Paha area students currently attending Bridgewater.
